22 STEPS
1. The first step is to open TAX HOUND and click Quick Account Setup
2. Click Add New Preparer
3. Create a Username and Press Tab
4. Create a password and Press Tab
5. Confirm password and Press Tab
6. Create a password hint. (must be at least 4 letters)
7. Enter Preparer First Name
8. Enter Prepare Last Name
9. Click Preparer Type
10. Select Preparer Type
11. Select the letter the preparer’s PTIN begins with. Most commonly used is P
12. Enter Preparer’s PTIN (including leading zeros) and Press Tab
13. Enter Preparer’s Area Code and Press Tab
14. Enter Preparer Phone Number and Press Tab
15. Enter Preparer’s Email Address
16. Do you want to list all taxpayers to this preparer? If so, click Yes. Otherwise leave as No.
17. Select the options you want your preparer to be allowed to do. We recommend leaving the Delete Client Records, Delete Firm Records, and Disable View/Print Config as unchecked. The rest are entirely up to you.
18. Select the software sections, you want your prepare to have access to.
19. Click Create New User
20. Click SKIP
21. Click COMPLETE
22. That’s it. You’re done.
